The February lunchtime expert series at Woodalls focused on Branding and the importance of recognising and integrating a company branding in their office design and fit out.
An eager gathering enjoyed a delicious lunch and networking opportunity before moving upstairs to the Woodalls Design suite to hear from Creative Director Kristoff Dubose.
Kristoff explained that sadly there are many examples of large office fit out projects where the company brand hasn’t had any more thought than simply the sign at reception. In today’s world of high expectations and the very competitive nature of hiring and retaining talent it is vital that a company’s branding, culture and values gets properly integrated in the design of their office. Kristoff’s presentation demonstrated the power of colour, imagery and symbols in sharing your message and engaging with the audience, ‘branding should be evident in every aspect of the experience you get when you are in an office including the lighting, shared spaces and how people move through the space not just the first impressions’.
The risks of not properly embracing branding in office fit out projects are widespread and include a dull uninspiring environment, poor talent retention, hard to hire talent and a general feeling of working for a mediocre company in a generic space.
Woodalls officially launched their new Branding Service at this lunchtime seminar. This service is a natural product of the detailed in-depth view we are privileged to have of each client as we embark on the Discovery and Define stages of our design process. It will ensure a company branding is fully integrated in their office fit out and is led by an internal team of experienced experts.
Woodalls Partner Jerry Woodcock said “We are constantly innovating and our experienced team of creative thinkers realise the important part we play in the design world. It is a strategic part of Woodalls growth to enhance our services and develop our projects from world class to world leading”
